Alex Challans

CEO

Alex Challans is the CEO and Co-Founder of The Quantum Insider. He previously worked as an investment director within a London-based private equity firm where he focussed on the technology sector. He is passionate about quantum technology’s potential to help solve some of the world’s more challenging problems. In his spare time he enjoys playing blues and jazz guitar.

Chris Coleman

Quantum Researcher

Chris is part of The Quantum Insider’s consulting team and currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Stewart Blusson Quantum Matter Institute (University of British Columbia). He has contributed to research activities across the quantum tech landscape including in quantum sensing and applied quantum computing projects. His focus is on investigating emergent aspects of the quantum computing ecosystem as it evolves from the NISQ to fault tolerant regime.

Daniel Kobina

Senior Developer

Daniel is a Senior Full Stack Developer with 10 years of experience building software for a variety of industries. He will be contributing to the architecture and development of the self-serve and other go-to-market modules for The Quantum Insider’s data platform. In his spare time, Daniel likes to play drum and maintain open-source software to scratch his passionate side of programming.

Daniel Ratke

Quantum Algorithm Specialist

CTO & Co-Founder at Rhome, a B2B SaaS in HRTech/LegalTech at seed stage, previously CTO & Co-Founder at Aqarios, a quantum computing company. Published scientific papers in ML and QC. Very commercial and technical entrepreneur, been programming since 13 years, deep knowledge in ML and QC.

"Nature isn't classical, dammit, and if you want to make a simulation of nature, you'd better make it quantum mechanical, and by golly it's a wonderful problem, because it doesn't look so easy."
